Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is charged with the supervision and maintenance of all property and equipment owned by the Oak Creek Community United Methodist Church (OCCUMC).  This includes creating policies for the use of such property and equipment, receiving and administering all gifts made to OCCUMC, overseeing investments, maintaining all legal documents, maintaining proper insurance coverage, and developing appropriate risk management policies.

Recent major activities:

  • Replaced parking lot
  • Lowered main entry island sidewalk for ease of access
  • Updated Landscaping after parking lot work
  • Repaired office entry sign
  • Negotiated the widening of 13th Street by cemetery
  • Repaired water leak damage in Parsonage bathroom
  • Repaired wind damage to church roof

Future major activities:

  • Repair water damage resulting from church roof wind damage 
  • Clad the steeple
  • Finish repainting all exterior woodwork
  • Remove/replace west wing carpet
