Come and worship with us!
From the Sunday after Labor Day to the Sunday before Memorial weekend Sunday, we invite you to worship with us at one of our Sunday services. They are at 8:00 am and 10:45 am.
Following Children's Time at the late service, children in 5K-3rd grade are invited to Children's Church
downstairs in the 3rd/4th Grade Room.
From Memorial Day through Labor Day we have one Sunday service at 9:30 am.
There will be special music from our choirs and individuals throughout the year.
Our church is air conditioned and wheelchair accessible, including an elevator.
Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month. In keeping with United Methodist tradition, "all who intend to lead a Christian life, together with their children, are invited to receive the bread and cup." That is, anyone of any age who desires to commune with God is invited to receive communion. All are welcome at our table.
Sunday School is offered for all ages from 9:30 – 10:30 am. from the Sunday after Labor Day to the Sunday before Memorial weekend Sunday. Free Nursery Care is available for children ages five and under.
Becoming a Member
Looking to join the church? New Member Classes are a great way to be introduced into the Oak Creek Community United Methodist Church and all that is offered here. Even if you have been a member of a UMC in the past, we ask that you still participate in the classes here to get familiar with our small groups, fellowship opportunities, Sunday School classes, and other educational programs. Please contact the church office for more information and dates.
Couples wishing to be married at Oak Creek Community United Methodist Church should contact Pastor Wendee Nitz at (414) 762-4600 ext 2. Traditionally, three to four premarital counseling sessions are expected. Please see our Weddings brochure for additional information and schedule of fees.
Through baptism, we celebrate and connect with our identity as people for whom Jesus Christ lived, died, and was resurrected. Baptism is a sign of our identity and our destiny in and through faith in Jesus Christ. It is a sign of God’s claim upon us and is a rite of passage into the family of God, the church. Persons of all ages are baptized, including infants. To learn more about arranging a baptism, please contact Pastor Wendee Nitz at (414) 762-4600 ext 2. Learn more about baptisms here.
When a loved one passes away, your church offers you and your family prayer and support, along with the opportunity to praise God for the life you have known and now hold dear in your hearts. To make funeral arrangements, please contact Pastor Wendee Nitz at (414) 762-4600 ext 2. Pre-planning of funerals is also welcome and our pastor will be honored to assist you in that process.
