Education for Adults

Sunday School meets from 9:30a - 10:30a from Labor day through Memorial day. There are several adult classes:

Adult Class 1
Leader: Pastor Armstrong, Room L27 (lower level)

Gain new insight into a very interesting topic – What About the Devil? A Study of Satan in the Bible and Christian Tradition. This book explores understanding of Satan as presented in the Bible and in Christian tradition and how these understandings inform Christian life. It addresses such questions as the following:

• Where did Satan come from?
• What does the Bible say to us about Satan?
• How has Satan been understood in Christian history?
• What are contemporary understandings of Satan?
• Are Satan and the devil the same being?
• Are all sins and evil the doing of Satan?

You won’t want to miss this short-term study beginning September 9 on a very little talked about but extremely interesting topic!

Adult Class 2

It was the cruelest of times. Under Herod’s torturous reign, families struggled to survive and yet, in the midst of utter turmoil, a young woman’s faith was put to the test. Join Mary and Joseph on an incredible journey of hope and discovery. Please join Adult 2 Sunday School Class led by Carlene Wintermote in the lower level west wing as they start week 2 of a 3 week series on the Nativity Story. The series will consist of watching the Nativity Story and having discussions afterwards.
