Sunday School meets from 9:30a - 10:30a from Labor day through Memorial day and Jr. High Youth meet in room L25 (lower level).
Junior High youth will relate the Bible and the messages of the Christian faith to their lives today and to the events that are shaping today's world.
Confirmation and Youth Fellowship (UMYF)
The class prepares young teens to be active and growing members of the church.
You must be in 7th, 8th or 9th grade for confirmation. Those wishing to come
for fellowship and service should be in 7th or 8th grade. The group ranges in
number from 10 - 20, and meets on Monday nights from 6:15-8:15 p.m. during the
school year. At the end of the 2 years, those in confirmation take part in a
confirmation ceremony and become members of the church. Students are also required
to have excellent attendance at Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. and one of the Sunday
Worship services (8:15 or 10:45). The youth study Scripture one year and church
history, policy and ethics the next. The class is led by Tony O., Clinton P.,
and Pastor Paul Armstrong.
